OK - Trying To Finesse My Way Past Buns Didn't Work...

Lara said: "You're doing great! But... where are the buns?"

I tried desperately to finesse my way past an actual buns shot because my behind has all but disappeared (read further below in the post: My Ass).

But no, you ladies were wise to that trick.

So, without further ado, my buns. No, you're not getting a straight on shot like the one down below until I am satisfied with them.

** You may note a "hair reduced zone" from waist to top of legs. It's called underwear and it's called abrasion. The hair reduction has been heightened since starting to spend hours at a time on the elliptical.

Sorry for the asymmetry

My Ass - Redux (or re-done)

I got a couple of emails and a couple of posts requesting the new view. So I have obliged. This is all a work in progress, so I'm not quite at the hard-body stage i intend to be when this is all over.

I have upped my workout time length in order to do more upper body work as well. My legs are ok now, my ass is still a little small, but working on it. I have lost proportionally more from my lower body, so I'm not completely happy with the upper to lower body balance - but again - work in progress.

I hope you will forgive the strategic fig leaf, but I am trying to be somewhat in compliance with U.S. law. The other brain was hanging out a little too far...

I'm taking my lead on this from what VoyeurWeb has to say on the subject, so I may be being too cautious.

On the facial hair: I didn't shave for a few days. Usually I am clean shaven or have a day's scruff if I didn't shave that morning because I was running late.

Yeah. I know. Lots of armpit hair. What can I say, I'm a hairy guy. If I lived with you you'd probably toss me out in the kennel with the dog, I shed so much.

This pic is where I started from - some 260 lbs.

I was actually sucking in during this first pic. I took this during the summer while on a business trip through the Asia/Pacific region. It was my heaviest weight ever, and the trip didn't help. My hosts plied me with food and drink for the whole period every stop was outdoing the last. Not a little, but a lot of food and drink. We barely got time to do the meetings and they weren't shovelling more food in us.

I REALLY like Asian food of all cuisines, so I was in food heaven. Didn't help the waistline.

Stay tuned!

45 Pounds Down - Yee Haw!!!

Well, this is a pretty obvious post from the title.

I'm down 5 more pounds. 45 pounds down. I haven't weighed this much since before I was married - I was about 21 last time I weighed this.

My workouts are about 1.5 to 2 hours long - steady. I am able to stay at a very good pace on the cross-trainer/eliptical for about 1 to 1.5 hours before doing upper body and abdominal work.

I get such a buzz during the cross-trainer workout. It's to the point where i don't want to get off of it by the end of my allotted/planned period of workout.

There are worse things to not want to stop doing, I'm guessing.

I started with the treadmill and eleptical because of my anxiety about the shape of my ass (see previous post: My Ass).

Below my waist has shrunk at a faster pace than about my waist, so I've upped my abdominal work. Specifically I'm trying to to about 10 minutes of sit-ups each session until my gut is able to take an enduring workout.

Upper body is on track - arms, shoulders, lats, blah, blah.

FYI: This is an insane period at work, so I will be more intermittment with posting here or commenting on anybody else's blogs for at least a couple of weeks. I am trying to cycle to at least one or two blogs in my reading circle every day, but i will see how it works and how each "crisis de jour" affects my ability to waste paid time blogging...

Wordcloud for Cadbury: quickly looking up

This is the wordcloud for this blog. I thought it was interesting.

One of the things that struck me was the number of times the names of other bloggers/readers showed up in both of the wordclouds. The other can be found on my other blog.

Where the wordcloud was generated
