Cadbury: quickly looking up

This blog is dedicated to my friends who wish me well in life, and is dedicated to their optimism, and my own growing sense of possibility.

Health Club

I have expanded the scope of my exercise program to include going to a health club 3 times a week in addition to my home exercise program.

I feel good after a workout.

Last night when I was walking away from the weight area toward the locker rooms (wearing my spandex shirt and shorts ;-), two women actually did a double take, stopped and proceeded to watch me walk to the changing room.

Yep, it was that kind of watching.

That was kind of weird.

I've never been watched in a wanton way by someone I wasn't involved with before (that i was aware of).

It felt pretty good, if a little odd.

I look forward to the next time.

OMG! LMAO!
okay - first, thanks for the sexy deep-voiced birthday song - you made my DAY!
second, wonton - as in asian food or wanton - as in desire in a lustful manner.
i know it's a typo - but it couldn't have been at a beter place in a better entry.

i imagine i'd live you a nice long look-see too if you walked by hot and sweaty in spandex.
honey, please....

Ooooooooh Cadbury! I know the feeling! I'm so proud of you for noticing the admiring looks of those women rather than questioning their intent! Good man!

You are wonderful and deserve the best. I'll also add that I'm a tad bit envious that T_cole got the Barry serenade! Ha!

Oldhippi: I am pleased to be of assistance at any time.

t_cole: i was contemplating actually recording a rendition for you, but i've had an on-again, off-again cold that hasn't done anything for my voice.

i guess i was losing my noodle when i made such an "eggregious" error in teh tiping

when i do my vw contri i'm intending to toss a few spandex workout shirt pics up here too, so stay tuned (hopefully it'll be worth it) - thank-you for assuming the best of how i might look

buddha_girl: i appreciate your comment and for understanding how i was feeling. i was afraid the ladies that are nice enough to come by my blog here, would be thinking "oh great, there's some ego in action"

i'm not an egotist and i thought twice before putting up that post, but like the feeling sexy thing, it's a new experience to be looked at in that, uh, raw a manner

i can only imagine how you ladies must feel when you are able to make a man look at you in such a manner (and more)

i'm sorry haven't serenaded you yet

ms cole is actually the second woman i have sung to recently. i bought a best of barry white cd for my kids and was inspired to sing a barry white style happy birthday for my daughter when she turned 10

she got the serious giggles but didn't run out of the room screaming like i expected ;-)

you had me for a minute. second person you have serenaded. i must be honest - i was a bit put off by that information. but when i found the first was your daughter, i'm okay with that...

you know, i didn't see ego when i first read this. i saw something i recognized. a timid self image. an awakening to the body you inhabit. and a developing appreciation of said body.
i LOVE that!
it's something BG and i have talked about (via email)extensively. i get it. i really do. we have a lot in common on several levels. now, if you could just work on that southern drawl...

for my body image entry, see...

this is where i live...
and like you - i am sure you can see how this plays out in other aspects of my life...
